What's needed for pressure-driven and/or ambu-based designs to be sufficient?

From Team Ori in Isreal:

Why can’t pressure driven ventilators like the Vortran answer the current need? It seems like these devices could easily be mass produced very quickly. Is it because a shortage of oxygen/pressurized air is anticipated?

And is a basic electrical ventilator like the MIT ambu based design sufficient, or should it include additional features to answer the need? Thanks!

@salim Probably it would be good to add links to the specific models that we are asking about.

The ambu bag design looks interesting, however, I have concerns about whether the would be adequate flow rates though the ambu bag. I would also like to see whether the ventilator has sufficient ability to deliver PEEP.
