3D printing materials research

This topic is all about 3D printing materials suitable for components for things such as a ventilator. One of the requirements is being able to sterilize the parts meaning they will need to have a softening point of over 120°C. Perhaps chemical resistance is also needed?

I have good connections with the manufacturer polymaker. They offer a wide variety of materials that could be useful such as PC-PBF (softening point of 139°C) and CoPA (softening point of 170°C).

Hi @Vanbluca Vanbluca, here is a good list on 3d printing materials and temperature tolerances:

Polyether ether ketone (PEEK) seems to be the best candidate from the list.
